The Asharqia Chamber won the e-government shield award as the best interactive platform on the Facebook at the competition exclusively organized for Arab governments and official institutions.
Mr. Abdulrahman A. Al Wabel, Secretary General of Asharqia Chamber said that the Award is granted by the Arab Administrative Development Organization (ARADO) which is affiliated to the Arab League. He added that the Asharqia Chamber won the award for its success during the past few years, in the social and cultural activities and for its efforts to reach out to a greater interactive network of social services.
Mr. Al Wabel said that this award is the "new" addition to a number of awards earned by Asharqia Chamber . Earlier, the Asharqia Chamber won the Prince Nayef bin Abdul Aziz Saudization prize twice, award for customer care and services for the third time in the Middle East and the award for the best working environment in the Kingdom twice. The Asharqia Chamber also finished first in providing facilities as a non-profit organization judged by a company, TeamOne Consulting.
